Week 10: Final Thoughts And Next Steps

One last riddle: You see a boat filled with people. It has not sunk, but when you look again you don’t see a single person on the boat. Why? 

Hi everyone! (one last time) 

Well, the final presentation is tomorrow! I hope it’ll be alright hehe. But in all seriousness, I have mixed feelings about the end. I wish I completed more during the Senior Project. but I will be continuing at the Gartner Lab to see this project through. This might’ve been the most mentally taxing experience I’ve had but I’ve enjoyed it immensely. In the next couple of months, I hope to make progress through a good number of islets that still need annotations and set my sights on analysis. I hope you’ve enjoyed following along with my journey and I hope it’s informed you a little bit about the mystery of islets and tissue engineering. 

I’d like to thank my advisors, Olivia Creasey and Dr. Allendoerfer, because if it wasn’t for their support, I wouldn’t have been able to be as successful as I was.
