“BASIS Independent Brooklyn sets a high academic bar but provides plenty of support to meet it. Teachers stay closely attuned to each child’s grasp of the material, and if there’s a gap, they reach out to schedule student hours. They also instill real independence, and my 3rd grader never needed nudging to stay on top of homework, study, or long-term assignments. The staff are excellent and still make learning fun, and last year she loved that her teacher started almost every day with a game built into the day’s plans.”
