Week 9
May 27, 2026
Hello everyone! Welcome back to my blog!
I began this week by completely focusing on my final research paper. Most of my time was spent continuing to draft and organize my body paragraphs so that my paper could flow more clearly and effectively. As I worked through my outline, I realized that some sections either included too much detail or did not explain my ideas thoroughly enough. Because of this, I spent additional time revising and editing my outline to improve the overall structure of the paper. I wanted to make sure that each paragraph connected smoothly to the next and that all of my ideas were clearly related back to my main research topic.
While editing, I focused on strengthening the transitions between topics and making my explanations more balanced. In some places, I noticed that I was overexplaining certain concepts, which made the paper feel repetitive, while in other sections I needed to provide more detail and evidence to support my points. This process helped me better understand how important organization and clarity are in research writing. I also worked on integrating information from my sources more naturally so that the evidence supports my arguments instead of simply summarizing the articles I read.
Next week, I plan on continuing my body paragraphs, incorporating more research evidence and interview insights, and beginning to work on my conclusion section. I also hope to start preparing more material for my final presentation so I can clearly explain both my research findings and the process behind my project.

Hi Mia! I love how you focused on the structure of your paper! Focusing on how to smoothly tie together different paragraphs can not only allow you to clearly display your research but also can center you and ensure that you’re highlighting key details. Though I am curious on how you will incorporate your interview into this piece.
