More from the first day! Our Lower School's back-t More from the first day! Our Lower School's back-to-school vibes went from a morning of ✏️ orientation to a celebration. 🎉 Teachers and students bonded over summer travels and icebreakers, getting excited for all the fun and learning to come. Then, the campus transformed into a carnival filled with joy, from an inflatable obstacle course and spin art to face painting and popcorn. 🍿 It was the perfect way to welcome back our youngest Wildcats and their families.

The excitement was contagious, as we heard this conversation between a teacher and a student:

"Are you excited for the first day of kindergarten?"
"No. I am VERY excited!"

That's the kind of energy we see at our school, and what a hugely successful day, thanks to our faculty, staff, and families! #firstdayofschool #backtoschool #community #welcomebackwildcats #firstdayvibes #schoolevents #lowerschool #kidscarnival #nycprivateschool #basisindependentmanhattan

The first day of school wasn't just about classes! The first day of school wasn't just about classes! Our Upper School students jumped right into a creative teamwork challenge: build a structure using only popsicle sticks.

The challenge wasn't just about building; it was about creativity, communication, and collaboration. We were so impressed by their out-of-the-box ideas, from a rocket ship to a tennis racket.

Welcome back, Wildcats! It's going to be a grrrrrreat year!
