Week 9

For the past couple of months, I have been diligently working with eSafety Systems as their newest intern and trainee. Originally I had centered my project around the day-to-day work I have been doing at eSafety. I began with performing market research tasks for the company and compiling reports on the industry and competitors of eSafety. As I began to earn the trust of my superiors they allowed me to make recommendations and consult on the marketing strategy of the company. As eSafety Systems already employs a full-time sales team, they are looking to me for a fresh, younger perspective. 

I had planned to make this the focal point of my presentation, but as I began to form my presentation I realized this was not as fresh of a perspective as I had imagined. As much as marketing and social media interest me, I feel that a project simply about this would not do the complex work of eSafety Systems justice. I have decided to focus my project more closely on Artificial Intelligence. AI is the future. I also firmly believe it is the future of this industry particularly. 

I am continuing my work with eSafety and I have been working on compiling my data and thoughts into my final presentation these past few weeks.
