Week 8: One part finished and a Setback

This week was a mix of solid progress and a few unexpected challenges. On Monday, I wrapped up the full draft of my research paper, which was a big step. I started reviewing the overall structure and made notes on areas that needed revision. On Tuesday, I began editing and reached out to a few classmates for peer feedback. I also started pulling together my sources so I can properly add citations.

On Wednesday, I met with my internal advisor to go over the grading criteria for the project. That meeting really helped me understand what’s expected for both the paper and the VR exhibit. I created a checklist afterward to stay organized and make sure I’m hitting all the key points. On Thursday, I ran a test of the VR exhibit, and everything seemed fine at first—but later in the day, the equipment stopped working. I figured out the issue and made a plan to repair it over the weekend.

Friday was mostly focused on editing the paper and comparing it against the criteria we discussed. I also started drafting the script for the guided tour of my VR exhibit, which I’ll keep working on once the equipment is fixed.

Overall, I’m happy with the progress I’ve made and excited for what’s to come. I can’t wait to see the full exhibit come together, and I’m really looking forward to presenting it.
